A board certified Internist with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Mitchell provides personalized medical care to a wide variety of patients – from grandparents to families with small children. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology at University of California, San Diego and her medical degree from University of California, San Francisco. After finishing her residency at a Stanford affiliated hospital in Santa Clara, Dr. Mitchell attended an infectious disease Fellowship at Long Island College Hospital in New York. She then returned to Southern California where she has been in private practice since 1987. Dr. Mitchell has held a number of leadership positions with the medical groups and hospitals she works with including former Medical Director of Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center. She holds dual board certification in Internal Medicine and Ambulatory Care.
