Arvind S. Nirula, M.D.
Cardiology
Board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology, with an added specialization in interventional cardiology, Arvind Nirula, M.D., specializes in providing medical care to patients with heart and vascular disease. His clinical practice ranges the full spectrum of cardiology: from helping to prevent heart disease for those who are at increased risk to treating those with established disease utilizing the latest, cutting-edge technologies. Born in Washington DC, Dr. Nirula earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, followed by a residency at Georgetown University in his hometown, where he also served as Chief Resident for the Department of Medicine. Dr. Nirula then came to Southern California where he completed two fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of California, Irvine.
Married with two children, he is an enthusiastic backyard astronomer and enjoys snowboarding when not helping his patients.
