Emile P. Wakim, M.D.
Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Wakim is an orthopedic surgeon who prides himself on providing the highest quality and sophisticated orthopedic care to his patients. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of San Diego where he graduated cum laude in biochemistry while starting all four years on one of the nation's finest Division 1 soccer teams.
Dr. Wakim attended medical school at Creighton University where he served on many leadership committees. He completed his orthopedic surgery training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago where he earned AOA leadership honors and was elected chief resident. During this time, he authored several articles, presentations, and contributed to writing a book. Dr. Wakim is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Areas of focus for his practice include sports medicine, minimally invasive total-knee arthroplasty, general hand and general foot/ankle surgery.
