Nutrition Counseling

Mary Seiersen, the Registered Dietician at Memorial Prompt Care will not just hand you a set of rules. Instead, you will work together to make personalized meal plans and learn how to incorporate them into your lifestyle. She can help you control your weight, diabetes, or other diagnosis such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, irritable bowel syndrome or hypoglycemia. Regardless of the type of diet you need, our Dietician can help you succeed in becoming healthier and incorporating these changes into your lifestyle permanently.

Has Your Doctor Suggested a Special Diet?

Perhaps you have been told to follow a nutritional plan to reduce your weight. Following a new diet requires ongoing effort, time, and should be monitored for its effectiveness. Fortunately, Registered Dieticians (RDs) are trained to help make these challenges easier for you.

Personalized Daily Menus

The Registered Dietician will work with you to personalize meal plans and teach you how to incorporate this new “weigh of eating” into your lifestyle. Mary has been helping people succeed with weight loss for 15 years and she can help you!

Helpful Hints

It is helpful to record what you eat throughout the day (choose one typical day), then bring this food record to your appointment. The dietician uses this information to tailor recommendations to your specific needs.
